Much of our work is with people who find dental treatment difficult, or who have left it a long time and want to start again without being lectured about it. We take longer appointments where they are needed, explain what we are doing before we do it, and stop when asked.
Why patients stay
We explain what we find, set out the options including doing nothing, and put the cost in writing before anything is booked. Where a second opinion or a referral to a registered specialist is the better course, we say so rather than stretch beyond what a general practice should do.
We do not sell treatment. Some things need doing now, some are worth watching, and some are a matter of preference rather than necessity — and you are entitled to know which is which before you decide.
A thorough examination, a clear explanation, an itemised written quote with item numbers, and HICAPS claiming on the spot so you pay only the gap. Eligible children are treated under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule.
New patients are welcome and no referral is needed. We see families from Box Hill North, Box Hill, Blackburn, Mont Albert, Surrey Hills, Kerrimuir and Doncaster, with off-street parking at the door.
